"Spaccio Capitale" is a raw, unflinching journey into Tor Bella Monaca, Rome—one of Europe’s largest open-air drug markets. Aired on Nove (Discovery), this feature-length documentary exposes the mechanics of organized crime through exclusive footage, undercover recordings, and high-tension police operations.
EDITING & TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
As the Lead Editor, I orchestrated a complex high-density multicam workflow, managing up to 8 simultaneous video and 16 audio streams for the raid sequences. Operating without any timecode or clapperboards, I had to seamlessly synchronize professional main units and drone footage with the raw, chaotic first-person perspectives of action cams worn by the Carabinieri, without timecode or ciak he
The challenge lay in manipulating these diverse sources to maintain a cinematic rhythm without losing the visceral adrenaline of the moment.
